A new zine called sabotage is recording tales of resistance in the workplace, “from individual pranks to large-scale employee action.” Some examples include acts of stealing (back) time, money and resources; bungling work; strikes; sleeping on the job — basically, anything that sticks it to the man. All printable media are welcome and submitters will be made anonymous to protect their identities. The deadline for submissions is August 31, 2017.

The People’s Tribune, Revolutionary Poets Brigade and Chicago Poets United Against Homelessness are looking for compile poems for an insert for the People’s Tribune that will be published in print and online. A graphic design apprentice living in Switzerland is looking to collaborate with people from around the world on a zine that gives the 21st century and popular culture a hard and critical look. Experimental art and basically any physical submissions are welcome, including art collages, short stories, photography, poems, handwritten pieces, doodles, paintings and illustrations. The deadline for submissions is August 18, 2017.

Write a 200-word short story and you could win a Masterclass course and get published in Sweek’s microfiction book. Sweek — a platform where people can write, read and share stories — has made the call for submissions for their Microfiction Competition, which will accept entries until August 27, 2017. The Masterclass course offerings include writing courses, one of which is given by James Patterson.

A zinester is looking for “poems, stories, rants, audio files of pure screaming, crappy doodles, any art, artsy collages of passive aggressive social media posts, less-screamy audio files, personal playlists, pictures of them (or you) ugly crying, etc.” — or whatever floats your boat — for their zine, Oops! The deadline for submissions has been extended to September 7, 2017.

Wine and Zine is compiling an adorable collection of dogo art with its new zine, the Charity Dogo Zine. All proceeds from the zine will go to Dogs Trust, a charity that helps rescue and rehome dogs in the UK. Submit your dog art by August 26, 2017.
