The first Art Bar of the year kicks off with readings from the series’ producers Alana P. Cook, Cynthia Gould, Francine P. Lewis and Josh Smith. Open stage reserved for people reading for the first time ever!

The popular west end reading series for emerging and established writers is back with readings by Andrew J Borkowski, Andrea Thompson, Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer and Lee Maracle.

The Thing About Objects II, 7pm, High Park Curling & Tennis Club, 100 Indian Rd

A series of performances considering objects over and in time and space — the “what” and “how” of objects from the seemingly banal to the delightfully odd. Artists Margaret Christakos, Evan Munday, Paul Hutcheson, Max Kelly, Lindsay Lauckner, Gabe Levine. Hosted by Brandy Ryan and Kerry Manders.

Pack the Courts! Rally to defend the Nov 25th Arrestees! 9am, College Park, 444 Yonge St

Come support the five women who were violently arrested after peacefully occupying the city’s Shelter Administration building, demanding shelter beds and a 24 hour drop in for women and trans people.
