This was a tricky read while riding the subway. The self-proclaimed “Shameless Cinema Sleaze” is an 18+ comic that doesn’t hesitate to get down and dirty. Although a quick flip through will likely not convert the shy or prudish, a more fascinating aspect of Cinema Sewer (I know what you’re thinking–how could anything be more fascinating than a comic full of butt cheeks and girl on girl action?) is that this comic zine doesn’t only deliver erotic action but art paneled porn journalism, too. The writing is insightful and informed, and the entire package smacks of clever grittiness with some good doses of humour thrown in, too. (Liz Worth)
