A charming little piece about all the meanings of DIY: making zines, fixing houses, traveling (for cheap), scavenging, planting gardens, etc. Junk is a big theme for these two resourceful ladies from Halifax: the attitude is that everything is useful, as long as you are willing to use it, and that everything is disposable, as long as you are willing to part from it.
