The Guest Bedroom’s first EP had a rousing little anthem called We Like Accidents that transcended the no wave shouting that defines them as a band. All I hear on this new EP (by the way, hooray once again for EPs) is the shouting, except for a schizophrenic keyboard-driven number called We Need Trips. Clearly the first person plural is this band’s secret weapon. (Terence Dick)
