The Progressive Thinker Vol. 1

The Progressive Thinker Vol. 1

Although I was at first a bit put-off by this zine’s almost entirely computer made format, I was quickly excited by the anarchistic tendencies shining through the introduction. The Progressive Thinker is a collection of essays, sketches, the odd comic, and some biographies highlighting criticism of capitalism. I found the biographies a bit too focused on the boring details of when and where the people were born, where they went to school, and less on why the author thinks they were radical or revolutionary. The entire zine has a bit of an air of a high school assignment. Still, I can really appreciate the drive behind it. (Samantha Trees)
