Wax mannequin (and Black Blood) — Saxon

What I love most about Wax Mannequin is that Wax Mannequin always sounds like Wax Mannequin. Our friendly monster-like minstrel is quite calm throughout most of Saxon, returning to his psych-folk origins, delivering classical acoustic guitar ballads backed by Black Blood (Mark Raymond on bass and Aidan Campbell on percussion). This album draws the listener in to feel as if riding on horseback with Wax, crossing the hills, mountains and valley of his mind on the most heroic journey. (Robert Lines)
