Woodsquat

I’ve quickly become a big fan of Trevor McKilligan. A good writer and good artist who brings an activist sensibility and passion to his work. In particular, his work in Woodsquat is inspired. Telling the epic story of the Woodsworth squat in Vancouver in 2002, Trevor puts a passion and integrity into the work that is rare. He was there, he experienced the situation…and his words and art represent it so very well. He lays out all the facts, and at the same time pulls the reader in to the emotional roller coaster the squators lived through. He holds nothing back, and the story he tells is sure to infuriate you.
