Art Hole: Dalbert Vilarino’s Bedroom Studio

Art Holes: Creators Diagram Where They Work

This studio space doubles as my bedroom. I love being able to wear whatever I want and not be judged for it.

Usually, the whole situation devolves into chaos no matter how organized I try to maintain things. I keep a bunch of influences in the form of postcards, prints, books, zines, and sculptures all around me, and I don’t think I could function as an illustrator without them. I often find myself confused about how to proceed with a piece, and I’ve realized that there is rarely one surefire source of inspiration I can return to repeatedly to find the answer I’m looking for.

Dalbert B. Vilarino is an illustrator and designer based in Toronto. He spends most of his time in some mixed state of confusion and over-caffeination, frantically drawing in the hopes that it will eventually lead to more drawing in the future. dalbertbv.com
