Deathmatch Round II Hits the Weekend Stretch!

The weekend is arriving for Deathmatch round two. Judging by the writer’s photographs we’re witnessing a battle between a meadow walk enthusiast and a puppy-dog butterfly – undoubtedly a gruesome match.

The week started with the spillover from round one. The near victor George Ian Thomas accused Broken Pencil of rigging the competition against him. He initiated a movement on the comment board to call out Hal Niedzviecki. No one followed, and soon after the current stories were in the spotlight.

It’s been a battle of preference between an insightful tale of a lonely underachiever and the witty fable of a bumbling idiot. The scoreboard’s having a hard time choosing, as the lead has been won and lost by both sides nearly every day. Check the boards and type an attack for your favourite here.
