The Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG project is a one-day crowdfunding event inviting people to donate to Seattle projects they care about— and the Seattle Zine Archive and Publishing Project is definitely one we care about.
Seattle ZAPP has more than 30,000 zines, comics, chapbooks and other small press periodicals, making it one of the largest zine collections in the world— maybe the largest (I dare you to think of a bigger one!)
The funds raised will ensure safe housing for the collection as well as provide space for workshops, exhibitions, and drop-in hours.
As part of the GiveBIG project, the Seattle Foundation will match all donations, meaning every bit counts twice as much! So do consider donating today.
