TORONTO

 Thursday, March 8., Robert Dayton’s  An Evening With The Canadian Romantic, Double Double Land, 209 August, $7, 8pm

A special night with the Canadian Romantic (AKA. veteran 1990s zinester and multidisplinary artist Robert Dayton) that is both mind-bending performance and book launch. Fondue included.

Friday, March 9., Treehouse Talks, Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge Street, 6:30-8:30 pm

The regular discussion series presents journalist Denise Balkissoon,  Taylor Prize nominee, author, and primatologist Andrew Westoll and  communications consultant John Sobol on a range of topics, from Facebook to releasing your inner ape.

ST. JOHN’S

Wednesday March 7., Soak Book Launch, Fat Cat, 51 Pleasant Street  Street, 5pm-7pm

Newfoundland writer Kerri Cull launches her first book of poetry Soak at the Fat Cat, poems about  “everyday life–the objects, the stories, the people–and how place, landscape, and home shape identity.”
