lemonTree creations presents STILL LIFE, a play that takes a look at being queer in contemporary Toronto , as part of the SummerWorks Festival. At the Theatre Passe Muaille Backspace, located at 16 Ryerson Avenue.

Support independent publishing and feminism all by buying old records and getting a haircut – all at the same time. Canada’s mag for teen girls and trans youth is hosting its first-ever garage sale that includes a bake sale, on-site hairdresser and yard sale. Come on out!

This event provides safe and comfortable space for trans, fat, differently-abled, homo, tatted, scarred and furry bathing beauties to splash around. Gender-neutral change rooms, $5-10 suggested donation. The Templeton Pool is accessible and located at 700 Templeton Drive.

The 2011 House of PainT independent hip hop festival is on from August 3 to 7. The main event, featuring workshops, b-boy/girl battles, and an after party, will be on August 6 from 12-9pm, under the Dunbar Bridge near Carleton.
