Toronto’s More Or Les is known for his food-based raps, but on this one, he’s serving up instrumentals built on vocal samples from the film Big Trouble in Little China and a breakbeat backdrop he calls “lunch breaks.” Big Lunch in Little China is occasionally reminiscent of the Beastie Boys’ Hello Nasty, but primarily continues the mood of Les’ 2013 Doctor Who-themed album, Bigger On The Inside — the vibe is decidedly sinister, though somehow playful. John Carpenter could have used this in 1986.
