Since 1995, Broken Pencil has been championing independent publishing. The goal of the magazine is to keep you informed about everything happening in zine culture, and encourage zine makers, novice and experienced, to keep exploring their their voice and community through zines! To that end, as you’ll see, Broken Pencil features a vital combination of reviews, excerpts and profiles, plus articles and videos about how to make and distribute zines and other kinds of independent press creations.
