A little glimpse into the sketchbook of Anthony Woodward. Don’t expect loose, messy doodles, however–these comics are very neat. Human characters star on one page, animals on another, robots on another, in short slice-of-life vignettes. While there isn’t much in the way of punch lines or profundity, these pages read like short notes you’d love to have a friend leave in your mailbox if they were passing by while you were out. The character’s are never doing much, but they just want to let you know they were in the neighbourhood. (Sarah Pinder)
