Hundreds of zines, books, comic, and small press vendors! Trade, buy, sell, browse, chill, enjoy!
2pm-6pm — ALL AGES ZINE ZONE!
Rich Theroux and Jess Szabo will be running a super-rad interactive workshop for kids and teens! Zine making, readings, activities and more!
3pm – 4pm • PANEL: ZINES AND SELF-PUBLISHING AS RESISTANCE IN THE DIGITAL AGE
The alternative press has always been a home for radical ideas, organizing efforts and crucial kowledge production. But in the 21st century, self-publishing and print take on new qualities and political tools for artists, writers, and activists. In this panel, zinesters, writers and illustrators will discuss the radical potentialities — and necessary pitfalls — of zines as political tools in the digital age.
