Call for Submissions: Fashion Revolution
With Canada’s ties to child labour recently exposed, Fashion Revolution’s second edition — themed “Loved Clothes Last” — has perfect timing. The non-profit fanzine will focus on issues of waste in the fashion industry, which echoes the organization’s firm belief “in a fashion industry that values people, the environment, creativity and profit in equal measure.” Written submissions and other forms must be submitted by July 8, 2017.

A young female artist named Tess, who has PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), is looking to create a zine collection featuring work by other women with PTSD and related mental illnesses. To contribute, drop her a line on Craigslist.
Call for Submissions: The Lit POP Awards
After a decade, the Lit POP Awards is going strong. Winners of the fiction and poetry prizes will get a round-trip to Montreal to attend the awards and will have their work published in Matrix Magazine. The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2017.
Call for Submissions: Bi Arts Zine
The Toronto Bi Arts Festival is looking for submissions for their Canada-wide zine, which will be published in conjunction with their inaugural festival, Sept. 22-24, 2017. All forms of submissions — artwork, illustrations, comics, photography, write ups, poetry, essays, interviews and personal stories — are welcome, as long as they are related to bisexuality, bi cultures, bi lifetyle, bi stories and bi experiences. The deadline for submissions is July 15.
