Everyone can relate to stories of underemployment, particularly the variety we knew when we were working part-time while in school. We’ve all had that job that seemed to suck and draw the soul out of our bodies-and all for the grand reward of minimum wage. Forty Cent Rage is a zine devoted to life working for a Dominion grocery store, which is a part of the Great Atlantic and Pacific Company of Canada. But 40 Cent Rage isn’t just a bitchfest against the company. The creator is sympathetic to the idea that employment there is optional. However, the zine is filled with great gossip and a high degree of corporate sarcasm. You can really feel the conflicted nature. I loved this zine because I worked at an A&P, so I feel the pain. A joy to read for anyone who has had a similar experience. (Jon Pressick)
