Well-written zine that recalls a Vancouver zine fest, has a crudely drawn comic about someone who has a penis shaped head, zine and show reviews along with newspaper clippings. Sounds like a million other zines so far huh? Well, hidden under all that is a continuing piece called “The Merritt News and World Retort.” Here, the author gives us an in-depth and intriguing look at the newspapers in Merritt. This time around it mostly concerns advertising rates and who each paper is courting for their advertising money (i.e. is it the forestry industry or the community?). Get this zine for an excellent look at mainstream media in a small town along with some fun randumb stuff. (GS)
