Bogged down by the dog days of summer? Need something more autumnal to anticipate beyond Halloween, Canadian Thanksgiving and Yom Kippur? Well, worry no longer local yocals. Canzine Toronto is on its way!
This year’s Canzine Toronto is October 22nd, from 10:00AM to 5:00PM at the Cecil Centre (58 Cecil St, near Spadina and College/across from Grossman’s). We’re going back to our roots with a more intimate and strange affair, featuring some of the best local zinesters and a curation of art and performances. And we want YOU to be a part of it!
As always, we’re opening up applications to table at Canzine Toronto. You can find the registration form here.
Due to limited space, it will not be first-come-first-serve this year. Artists and vendors who focus on selling zines will be prioritized. All accepted applications come with a 1-year subscription to Broken Pencil (or an extension to your subscription if you are already a subscriber). There are no refunds, although any vendors who cancel will still receive a free one-year subscription. Additionally, all applicants who are not selected for Canzine Toronto will be offered preferred placement in the next Online Canzine.
Deadline to apply is 5pm September 5, 2023.
