Guerrilla Media describe themselves as “a group of anti-capitalist ne’er-do-wells who can’t be bothered to get real jobs.” This newsletter basically describes their attempts to disrupt the smooth functioning of the capitalist machinery. This issue includes an account of a protest against the Vancouver Indy (highlighted by playing GM’s playing a recording of race noise at actual volume outside the mayor’s house), of attacks on a local right-wing political party, and of covering the boxes of newspapers owned by Conrad Black with “Black Contaminated Ink” signs. As the GM folks say “Nothing succeeds like parodying a loathsome corporate pig like Conrad Black.” And it’s fun to read about as well. (KR)
