Shake Your Tailfeathers
I do not want to meet the Sugar City Artist Collective. I am afraid they would eat me. Shake Your Tailfeathers is a joyful name for a collection of poems that have depression, sadism, dementia or esoteric angst as their theme. The cartoons are pretty, but they’re also bewildering. Maybe there’s an audience for this, but it’s certainly not me. I’m not a fan of poetry at the best of times, and poetry that only seems to depress or confuse seems useless to me. If you are that audience, please don’t hurt me, and enjoy this zine. (J. Blackmore)
