I’m one of the editors for this magazine so I’m not going to come right out and say that this is the best literary magazine in Canada. Okay? You got that? The thing that I’m not saying is that Blood + Aphorisms is the best literary magazine in Canada. That is the thing I am not saying. You did not read in broken pencil that Blood + Aphorisms is the best literary magazine in Canada. Who said that? Did someone go off and say that? It was not me. This is not where you heard that you should read every issue of Blood + Aphorisms cover to cover with one hand holding on to your heart to keep it from bursting right out of your chest.
