A pop culture ‘zine with attitude. Unprovoked diatribes against: Silken Laumann (before the cough syrup thing), The Reform Party, over -eager Christians named Ethel Stephens, a certain lotto 649 ad, and Dungeon’s and Dragons. Detailed celebrations of: The Six Million Dollar Man, Godzilla (including the surprise ‘Canadian connection’), Star Trek, Amway, obscure films mostly of the low-budget action variety — the article on Filipino action films was first rate. Good variety of articles written by a fairly large group of people who all seem at least semi-literate (not sure about the ‘zine reviewer). An admirable effort that brings just the right mixture of cynicism, sarcasm, and affection to its topics.
