This beautiful little book centers around the artist’s investigation of breath and art, what emerges in that ephemeral place, with what does it concern itself and how does it bring itself forward. Text connects directly with paintings and illustrations, even doodles press the reader further into the world of this creator. There is a lovely harmony here, quotations augment and sometimes clarify the point of view that emerges carefully and slowly. The objective here is to inform, not to “entertain”, a goal that is achieved if the reader is sincere.
