I always hope that new literary magazines survive. They are a sign of hope in often dismal literary times. This new litzine, the second issue of which came my way, does provide another community based alternative for those with poetry and short stories to share. As is often the case, the fiction is stronger that the poetry. However, I really enjoyed Stephen Brockwell’s poem ‘Lakeshore Stone’, finding his reflective descriptions quite moving. The editors welcome submissions by snail and e-mail. (BB)
