The cover of this strange zine says “small press art from small press people.” A lot of stick drawings and that letter printing in uppercase on a slant that makes my brain goes ouch. The stupid boy cartoon on page 22 was at least childish enough to be funny. A really bad joke about battered cod, but you can’t blame stupid boy; he’s really cute. There’s a pop up thing about the Artemis project. You can contact the Artemis society (if you’re like me and not really quite sure what that is) their address is in there too. The art for the most part is well done, it’s environmental sci-fi. Maybe I’m an idiot and need these kind of things spoon fed to me but I think a manifesto at the beginning would have help sort out the readers role. Not my scene at all, very obscure in all the wrong places. (NGM)
