So you want to be a vendor at Online Canzine?
Here’s everything you need to know before applying:
✿ Applications are open from February 15 – March 1, 2023
✿ We will notify you via email if you have been accepted into the festival. You must complete your registration within 1-week, otherwise, your spot will be given to someone on the waitlist.
✿ Vendors will be required to pay a registration fee
✿ You’ll be able to sell up to 3 physical items and an unlimited amount of digital downloads.
I’ve been accepted as a vendor! Yay! Now what?
✿ You will receive an email notification that you’ve been accepted into Online Canzine. This email contains important instructions on how to pay and how to set up your store. Please note that this is different than in previous years!
✿ You must pay your registration fee within 1-week! If we haven’t heard from you, your spot will be given to someone else.
✿ You’ll set up your online shop with your zines, some info about you, and a photo. Your picture doesn’t have to be of you but should represent your work or your store.
✿ We work in Canadian dollars (CAD). Please list all your prices accordingly. We will assume that all prices are in CAD.
✿ Once Canzine goes live on April 7th, promote it on your socials, share it with friends, and checkout other vendors! The more attention the website gets, the more sales you’ll get.
Online Canzine is over 🙁 What do I do now?
✿ We’ll close out your stores and let you know how many of each of your items sold.
✿ You’ll need to package them up and send them to us, and then we will send them to the buyers.
✿ You’ll be able to cash out via the online store and deposit your earnings directly into your account. Don’t worry, you’ll get an email with more instructions on how to do this.
