The Gilded Idol is about a wealthy and distinguished man who finally meets an unrivalled equal in the form of a fantastical creature. Inspired by Persian miniature painting and tessellations, this 48-page story is set against rich ornamental backgrounds and borders.
Anna Bron is an illustrator, designer, and animator who also came up with the concept and illustrated our Canzine West poster for 2016. She will have prints of her art available, along with short little books with silly stories about budgies and pygmy seahorses.
