Comic Artist Yale Stewart’s site is a series of short comics featuring members of the DC universe, only they’re 8 years old, and adorable. Stewart uploads content quite frequently and the comics have enough humour and heart to make you want to come back for more. It’s definitely a must-read.
THANKS OBAMA!: This tumblr is pure joy. It is possibly the best way to combine the art of infomercials and the common practice of blaming politicians for all life’s problems. Now, if you’re looking for intelligent banter and witty repartee you may need to look further than THANKS OBAMA! It is in no way an intellectual stimulant, at best it’s a good twenty minute laugh-a-thon. It will make you laugh though, maybe it’ll make you cry, either way it’s totally worth a browse.
Meet Micro Bublé: Bardia Sinaee (brilliant poet and winner of the Walrus Poetry Prize Reader’s Choice in 2012) has started a new website where he reviews and maintains an inventory of micro-presses and chapbooks. Through the delightfully-titled Micro Bublé, Sinaee aims to “feature full (that is: thorough) reviews of those chapbooks with which I can forge a magical bond.” If you wish to submit a chapbook for review, email him at [email protected], and just visit the site and support this wonderful initiative.
