Thoughtful, not quite touching little parables about experiences hiking, climbing, exploring and hunting mostly in Canada and New Zealand. Stories include hunting deer with the family, three sentences about the Bush Falcon and craving canned peaches in the Southern Alps. The crude illustrations fill the back of the book — you can colour them in — include Introduced Fish in New Zealand and the Tiki. Greg has a lot of knowledge and experience, and he conveys it in an interesting if slightly disorgainzed manner. This could be for you if you are excited by the great outdoors, or are planning a hiking trip to New Zealand.
