Slight Christian music zine that many secular readers would no doubt appreciate for its sincerity and lack of a heavy hand. Myself, I prefer the Christian grindcore crowd engaged in a screaming war with Satan. Interviews with Training for Utopia, Ghoti Hook, the Grits, and Damien Jurado, none of whom I’d ever previously heard. Lengthy record reviews include works by more recognizable names. Word of advice: those indecipherable black smudgy graphics that look like they accidentally fell onto the page, breaking up columns with the text-wrap feature into single-word lines – lose them. (DF)
