In your face, on your face, all over every thing, Da Juice is a mega-zine, a “black lesbian thang”, and speaks directly to its audience with poetry, fiction, interviews and articles. It’s political, vigorous and informative. Its most powerful segments fall under the “reality check” section, which presents a whole host of thoughtful perspectives on topics as diverse as dykes doing drag to a piece questioning who decides what is criminal. Layout is also luscious with reprinted artwork, sensuous graphics and a smooth, open design.
