Filler, a zine of the month last year, is back to once again wear the crown of king of the Canadian music zines. A gigantic feature on the fabulous New Zealand record label Flying Nun, a raving but informative interview with Montreal’s Pest 5000, and a fantastic, thorough article on short wave radio. Filler’s gone to a smaller size, and it works — by cutting down on the number of articles fascination overcomes frustration and you know the next issue is already half done!
