The girth of this ‘zine is correspondence. Letters and replies aplenty, which, as you read, transcend simple letter writing and replying, and elevate to a fascinating genre of article writing. Issues, such as squatting, welfare, rape, parenting and veganism unfurl in unpretentious, honest language. This is not light reading — the issues themselves are serious and in some cases quite aggressive, and are matched by a small dense font. All in all, this kind of format was engaging and intimate, although in a few cases letters that you were interested in reading a reply to didn’t have any reply at all.
