The intro to this publication claims that it’s “a venue for articles that are unconventional, critical of established orthodoxies of any kind, against the grain.” And maybe it is, but if so, they’re conventions that nobody cares about. This issue consists of one article which indulges in vague speculations concerning the philosophical nature of change. Along the way, the article dips briefly into Nietzsche. It also drops the names of several other prominent philosophers without actually exploring what any of them thought, which is hugely annoying. And the conclusion? Well, there really is none, other than that change happens. Well, gee, guess I could have skipped all those philosophy classes. (KR)
