Herein we have a personal introduction to the world of 1950s horror and sci-fi flicks care of young Paul who writes likes he’s sat you down and can’t stop blabbering about the movies he’s seen and the books he’s read and how it all relates to the zeitgeist of Cold War America and the easy access to military stock footage. And then he tells you all about this movie Forbidden Planet, which is one of my personal favourites but don’t ask me about it or I’ll talk to you for another couple hours after Paul is finished. It’s that THOUGHT PROVOKING! Plus there’s a whole load of other information like director biographies and crazy commercial gimmicks (like electrocution!) and hints as to how to find out more yourself so you can become as annoying as Paul.
