Oumuamua: Eternal Light

No Homes In Peace

We’re deep in conspiracy territory. “My laptop was seized by Homeland Security, because of a picture of an Alien Selfie on the hard drive,” says HYPERMANCER (real identity unknown), in the liner notes for this album. Oumuamua: Eternal Light is inspired by the Phoenix Lights UFO incident; previous HYPERMANCER albums are dedicated to the Flatwoods Monster and the Mothman. Breakbeats mingle with vocal samples of UFO witness testimony and sci-fi movie-type trimmings. It’s a unique document, to be sure — heavy on the off-planet visitors, but unquestionably well-produced for a DIY recording.
