At first glance, this appears to be a typical mini, with the usual collage, handwriting and typewritten aesthetic. It is that, but it’s more too. Read “Out my Window”: “the salt factory/ the freshwater lake/ the thin streaking cloud/ the stretching wires/ my lost city.” It’s clear that all of the writing, including this piece, possesses a haiku-esque quality to it. Both Jaime and Kristina have put together a little zine that is really worth taking a look at. Twice. (Skot Deeming)
