This must be just the sampler, a glimpse of what’s to come for these folks. Reading it took as long as flipping through it — a bit of poetry, political, sex-friendly goddess-friendly cut and paste collage, a comic and a snapshot fiction left me feeling like I’d missed the secret ordering instructions or the magic pocket that contained a real swath of girthy, agitating feminist voice I was expecting. Maybe they’re just getting reved up, maybe that’s coming in issue two. Send them a buck and see.
