This issue, Speirs decides, for whatever reason, to focus more or less exclusively on rubber stamps. And, somehow, he actually makes it interesting. I didn’t know what the origin of rubber stamps was. Now I do, and I’m actually glad to know it. There’s a couple of pieces on the use of rubber stamps in art, with particular reference to the Dadaist art movement of the early 20th century, that were also rather absorbing. One of the joys of reading zines is that occasionally you learn something. This issue is a small joy. (KR)
