P.C.

The title of this anarchist zine sums up its strengths and weaknesses: its message is Damn right we re P.C. and then some! Craig s political analysis is like his taste in music: hardcore, multicultural, loud and clever. The interview with Lorenzo Kom boa Ervin, one of the few public African-American anarchists, is a highlight, balanced well with a reprint by the late Black Panther Kuwasi Balagoon, who got into anarchism in the last few years of his life, before dying of AIDS-related causes. At the risk of letting down the program, though, I enjoyed the zine and music reviews the most. Craig s review of Minneapolis political zine The Blast brought up some cogent criticisms of the race traitor concept now popular among anti-racist white leftists. Complaints? Warmed-over revolutionary rhetoric creeps in too often, not enough graphics, not published often enough. Get cracking, Craig.
