PlasticBenjamin is not the coolest ezine in the world, for one really, really good reason. It’s not that some of the stuff they print is just criminally unfunny, and it’s not that they have a very specifically Canadian content and style which is somewhat jarring in the age of glossy impersonality. It’s that they have links which don’t work. That shit’s criminal, man. It’s just not cool. Otherwise, it’s a really funny and occasionally pertinent (1984 by Bill Gates is a modern classic) ezine, which hopefully will be around for years to come. (EW)
