Lefty tabloid from Victoria. Too much text and not that fun to look at. Unsurprising headlines such as: Confronting Global Capitalism and Challenging White Supremacy, Genocide and Globalization: The Corporate-Driven Extermination of First Nation Peoples in British Columbia and British Columbia Drug War Promotes Police Brutality and Corruption. I think you get the picture. Honest and genuine, but like the movements it supports, somewhat aimless and a little repetitive. If you want people to read this stuff, it’s going to have to be relevant to their lives. Stridency in the name of various social justice issues can be hard to distinguish from religious fanaticism. Both are unappealing in their relentless proselytizing. (SA)
