Speck recharged. Bleek dropped out of the scene for a while there, but has relocated to Vancouver. He is obviously thankful for the change. Jam-packed at 38 pages, this issue, quaintly dubbed “the First Vancouver Issue” is a mish mash of articles and reviews and interviews with bands and editors. Bleek has reinstated the “What You Dropped” section, where you can read letters and notes that found themselves on the ground or on the floors of high school cafeterias. Another article on the art of anonymous snooping is in the “Actual Letters To SubPop” section. If you ever wanted to eavesdrop without getting caught and feeling guilty, pick up this issue. (ME)
