More post-ironic philosophy from the king of slacker anti-humour. If you haven’t seen this before, it basically consists of two guys who endlessly speculate about the meaninglessness and futility of their lives, though they never change a thing. Haircuts, violence, TV commercials, bad movies, careers and the futility of rebellion are all topics this time around. Brad’s trick is to skewer the endless witty patter we all rely on to make (no)sense of our lives, without denying how much we need to keep talking in order to make sure we don’t hear anything that might really scare us.
