Gentle and poignant, Keightley tells us the tale of two neighbors. There’s Sender the desperately friendly miscreant whose house smells like piss and whose dog eats everyone’s garbage. Then there’s the narrator, fascinated and repulsed by Sender, she gingerly steps into the tornado of his life and ends up getting caught up in the whirl. Good story. Well worth the low low price.
