There are aspects of this work that make me feel it needs another round of editing, but overall this quickly dashed off story was enjoyable to read. Gripp’s work is somewhat in the beat tradition, but does pay heed to the unities of Greek drama. The poem included with the story, “The After Solstice” would fit well within Maggie Helwig’s zine Crash. (Brian Burch)
