This is an interactive story-telling game with a Christmas theme that’s meant to be played with children. The players become characters such as dolls, elves, kids and trees – all part of the Fat Man’s sleigh team. The team must help the Fat Man deliver presents on the big night. There are various monsters and evil toy agents who attempt to thwart the team. The game is run by the Leader (sort of like the dungeon master in D&D). The accompanying book gives you setting and characters that you can use to play the game. The outcome of battles and challenges are decided by the paper, scissors, rock method. There are various rules and missions outlined in the book, and patterns for the puppets. It’s not challenging enough for older audiences, but anyone who wants to try an imaginative game with their kids might want to try it. (AK)
